Yulisa Pedraza is an associate attorney at Whiting, Cotter & Hurlimann, LLP where she focuses her practice on representing safety officers in workers’ compensation matters. She joined the firm as a law clerk during which she was mentored directly by Mr. Cotter and Mr. Hurlimann, gaining invaluable insight into the complexities of the field.
Ms. Pedraza earned her Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of La Verne. During law school, she gained hands-on experience at a workers’ compensation firm, where she assisted with workplace injury claims. Her diverse legal background also includes civil litigation and employment law, which sharpened her skills in legal research, case analysis, and advocacy. Driven by a passion for protecting those who serve their communities, Ms. Pedraza is committed to providing thoughtful, dedicated, and high-quality representation. She takes great pride in ensuring that the men and women who keep our neighborhoods safe receive the advocacy they deserve.
In her free time, Yulisa enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations on cruises with her husband.
