Matthew D. Hurlimann is a partner at Whiting, Cotter & Hurlimann, LLP and has been practicing in the area of Workers’ Compensation law since 2001.  Proud of his success of taking care of heroes, Mr. Hurlimann fights to ensure police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, and other public safety personnel receive the full range of benefits to which injured workers are entitled.  In 2018, he joined Messrs. Whiting and Cotter to form Whiting, Cotter & Hurlimann, LLP.

Mr. Hurlimann is recognized by the State Bar of California as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation.  He handles all technical aspects of the law related to Workers’ Compensation, including appearing before the Court of Appeal.  Mr. Hurlimann graduated from the university of California Hastings, College of the Law and obtained his undergraduate degree from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
